Daniel is joining DreamChasers in 2017 as the President and Director of Baseball Operations in roles similar to the ones he previously held with National Standout, The Brooklyn Bluestorm and at The Boys Club of New York. Coach Danny brings tons of baseball knowledge and experience  as well as a wealthy network of contacts in the Travel, Academic and Pro levels of Baseball where our kids will benefit from such access.

2011- 2017: Head Coach, Associate Director / Brooklyn Bluestorm

2005-06, 2009-2011: Head Coach / Boys Club of New York

Daniel grew up in the Lower East Side area of NYC and played Baseball at Seward Park High School in NYC as well as in the Youth Service and Boys Club of NY Baseball Programs.

In 2016, wanting to bring baseball back to his roots, Michael Corona created the DreamChasers Baseball Academy. Living in Lower East Side and having tons of experience playing and teaching baseball, Michael decided to startup the DreamChasers in an effort to provide a low-cost, intro-to-baseball program in Downtown Manhattan.


Growing up and playing Baseball in NYC, Michael has been a part of many different programs including BCNY & Youth Service League,


In 2009, Michael won the NYC PSAL High School Pitcher of the Year award breaking and still holding the NYC record for strikeouts with 129 k's over 61 innings pitched and led the High School for Health Professions to their only City Championship, hence also winning the MVP award.


Coach Mike eventually played Collegiate baseball at NJCAA Division 1 Monroe College in New Rochelle and at NCAA Division 1 Baseball Powerhouse, St. Johns University under Legendary, Coach Ed Blankmeyer.

Greg Downing is a Queen's native who attended Christ the King Regional High School. Throughout High School Greg play with the power house Youth Service Baseball League. After high school Greg continue his baseball career at Franklin Pierce University where he excelled a 2.30 ERA with a blazing 11.26 strikeout per-game rate. After Greg's Junior year at Franklin Pierce 

he was drafted by the L.A Dodgers in the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft. He was taken in the 47th round (1,424 overall).
